Key Features Overview:

Remote access: With iMOW® fleet management in the STIHL Connected app, you are always kept up to date with the status of the robotic mower. With STIHL Connected, you can also change settings for your entire iMOW ® fleet, such as the cutting height or the sensitivity of the rain sensor, as well as adjust the mowing plan. You can also always see the location and operating status of your robotic mowers.

iMOW® team function: The iMOW® can mow lawns of up to 8,000 m², such as football pitches, when working as part of a team. Up to 3 robotic mowers can be installed as a team and one boundary wire is used for all of the robotic mower's mowing plan. A guide wire is laid for each robotic lawnmower so that each iMOW® can reliably find its way to the assigned mowing area and back to its docking station.

Disc-cut system: High rotational speed and 3 free-swinging, extra-sharp blades provide a cleanly cut lawn every time. The direction of rotation is automatically alternated on a regular basis, extending the life of the blades.

Electric cut height adjustment: You can adjust the cutting height of your robotic lawnmower directly via the app.

Tool free blade change: No tools are required for changing the blades of the iMOW, so it's easy to replace blades when necessary. For an even cut, we recommend changing all three blades at once when replacing a blunt or damaged blade.

iMOW® PRO controls: The Human-Machine Interface (HMI) consists of the control panel, which uses push buttons and the rear LED strip to show all of the iMOW® commands. The front LED strip provides information about the status of the iMOW®. The iMOW® also has voice output which tells you the current task and the length of the mowing plan.

Pin Code: The PIN code on the iMOW® prevents unauthorised people from operating the mower. It consists of a key combination that you define in the MY iMOW® app. This means that only authorised people can control the iMOW® from the control panel after entering the PIN code.

Customisable lighting colour: The daytime running lights on the LED front strip can be changed so you can specify your preferred light colour. This lets you individually adapt the look of your iMOW® to the corporate identity of a company or sports team club colours.

Connectivity: Connectivity functions mean you can control your mower via the MY iMOW® app, using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth®. On the PRO models, you can also connect the app to the robotic lawnmower via mobile phone, due to a constant 4G internet connection.

Mobile access via my iMOW® app: You can check the status and current tasks of the iMOW from anywhere via the MY iMOW® app. App capabilities include creating an interactive mowing plan, viewing the current location of your iMOW, and setting your mowing zones. You can also change other settings in the app, such as the cutting height.

Zone management: If your garden has complex, awkwardly shaped areas or lots of close-together obstacles you can simplify the mowing plan of the iMOW by defining starting points and specifying preferred mowing zones. This makes work more efficient and faster.

Alarm function: If the iMOW is lifted up, or if the tilt or movement of the power tool changes in an unusual way (carrying detection), an alarm will be triggered. This switches off automatically when the robot mower is set down again. In addition, the robot automatically locks its control functions if it is removed from the home area.

Rain sensor: Thanks to its rain sensor, your iMOW® robotic mower is able to decide whether or not to mow based on the weather. In the settings, you can decide how the robotic lawn mower reacts to rain.

The iMOW® 7 PRO is part of the latest generation of iMOW® robotic mowers from STIHL. Designed for mowing commercial areas, it’s the first iMOW® with Team function which allows up to 3 iMOW® robotic mowers to operate in the same mowing zone at one time – providing your lawns with a beautiful, green finish without needing to lift a finger. Capable of cutting lawns of up to 5,000 m2 / 8,000 m2 when working as part of a team, and gradients of up to 45%, the iMOW® is powered by a high-performance lithium-ion battery for efficient and continuous work over long working periods.

The iMOW® is controlled using the MY iMOW® app which controls all the functions for the robotic mower, such as sending it out to mow, returning it to the dock, changing the mowing plan, adjusting the cutting height or checking the current status of the iMOW®.

The iMOW® 7 PRO has a mobile connection which means you can connect to it via the MY iMOW® app at any time and send it out to mow even when away from the mower. It can also connect to the MY iMOW® app via a WiFi network or Bluetooth connection when close to the machine as well.

The iMOW® 7 PRO is integrated with STIHL Connected fleet management too, which always shows the usage information and location of the robotic mower too.

The iMOW® is installed by laying or burying a thin wire around the outer edge of the lawn and around obstacles that might be in the grass, such as shrubs, trees, flower beds or water features. Then, a second wire in the centre of the lawn helps the iMOW® to travel home to charge. If the iMOW® comes across objects in the mowing area then it’s sensors will activate, causing it to slow down, softly bump into it and then go off into another direction. You can install you iMOW® yourself via the MY iMOW® app, which provides guided instructions on how to complete the install. You can also follow our playlist on how to install the iMOW® too! If installing this way, you will need the appropriate installation kit (sold separately) for your lawn size in order to install the iMOW®. For complex lawns with multiple mowing plans, you can request for your local STIHL Approved Dealer to install the iMOW®. The iMOW® is fitted with 3 free-swinging, extra-sharp and robust Duro blades which provide a clean cut lawn every time. These blades rotate each time they stop, and they last twice as long as standard blades thanks to the hardened outer layer. If the blades become damaged, they can easily be replaced as well. 

The iMOW® is a mulching mower. Mulching is the process of cutting the grass into small clippings which are then dropped back into the lawn, acting as a natural and nutrient-rich fertiliser. Plus you have the added bonus of not having to empty a grass catcher box again! Because the iMOW® cuts the grass little and often, the clippings decompose quickly – leaving no trace of them, apart from a well-nourished, lush, green lawn.
