Whilst fitting the 2 Small bearings to the nose shaft and cup on the rotor disc, you may need to adjust the tolerance from blades to anvil.

These shims are placed between the bearing and nose shaft to afford the correct adjustment.

A new machine comes with 2 fitted but ongoing repairs may need more or less than 2.
