The finer mulching produces clippings which will decompose quickly, providing nutrients to your lawn and help keep moisture in the ground.

DESCRIPTION

Advantages to mulching:

  • No interruptions to empty the grass collector, so saving time
  • Grass clippings quickly decompose and keep valuable nutrients in the lawn
  • Even leaves can be mulched to some extent
  • Mulch helps preserve moisture in the ground and acts as a barrier against plant damage and diseases

Disadvantages to mulching:

  • Not suitable for very long or wet grass
  • Weed seeds remain in the lawn and can worsen weed manifestation
  • Mulch clippings may be tracked into your home
  • Dense thatch can increase moss spread, fungal disease, or shallow grass rooting
