DESCRIPTION
The ADA 1000 adapter is an alternative to the AR 2000 L and AR 3000 L backpack batteries and has two slots which can fit any AP battery.
It weighs 5.5 kg with two AP 300 S batteries, which is significantly less than an AR backpack battery, and has an automatic switchover feature – meaning when one battery runs out of power, it will automatically switch over to the next one.
The ADA 1000 is designed primarily to be used with the BGA 300 leaf blower to reduce the weight of the machine when working over long periods of time. When using the BGA 300 with the recommended AR 3000 L battery, it weighs 16.9kg. When paired with the ADA 1000 plus 2 AP 500 S batteries, the weight of the leaf blower is reduced to 13.3 kg. This makes working over long periods of time much more comfortable as you are carrying less weight on your back. For further weight reduction, it can be used with just one battery as opposed to two – although this will lower the working time of the machine.
The ADA 1000 is compatible with both the BGA 300.1 and BGA 300.0. However, when used on the older BGA 300.0 version it will not have the automatic switchover feature due to differences in software between the two models. To determine which BGA 300 you have, refer to the label on the machine or speak to us!
The ADA 1000 is also compatible with the RMA 765 V professional battery lawn mower and the AR L carrying system. When used with the carrying system we do not recommend using the ADA 1000 with any tools where there is risk of cutting the cable, such as chainsaws or hedge trimmers.
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE WITH THE AR L CARRYING SYSTEM
