Petrol Concrete Cutter: For Wet Cutting Concrete, Stone and Masonry
- 16" Bar length
- Professional power tool for construction work
- With diamond grinding chain for wet cutting of stone and concrete
- Easy to start using STIHL ElastoStart and the decompression valve
- Precise cut guidance with the STIHL anti-vibration system
The STIHL GS 461 handles like a chainsaw but has the power of a cut-off machine. With an impressive cutting depth, great power-to-weight ratio and ability to cut precise corners, the GS 461 is ideal for cutting concrete, masonry, concrete pipe and ductile cast iron pipes. With a 16" guide bar and nozzles that point forward for effective supplying of the chain with water, the special diamond saw chain transforms the engine power into a superior cutting performance.
A manual decompression valve makes starting the GS 461 easy. By allowing some of the compressed mixture to escape the cylinder by opening the valve, the start-up system is protected and the amount of force required on the starter cord is reduced. Benefiting from pre-separation routing and a HD2 filter, the GS 461 has a significantly longer filter service life compared to other conventional air filter systems. For more pleasant and easy working, a tool-free fuel cap is fuss free to open with a bayonet closure while STIHL's anti-vibration system reduce the transmission of engine vibrations to the handle and thus the body of the user.
Specific for the GS 461, the Rollomatic G guide bar features water channels, a hardened chain track and two additional holes for attaching the saw chain which extends the tensioning range. Side-mounted tensioning allows for protected, easy and quick chain tensioning and replacement. Provided with a large rubber guard, this protects the engine casing when cutting walls where the guide bar is required to be fully inserted.
A permanent water supply is provided for flushing out the cutting wheel. This binds the dust and cools the cut. With the water connection directly on the tool, rinsing is easy and permanently assure. Supplied through the sprocket into the guide bar, this mechanism is proven to efficiently suppress dust.
