Whether you’re a groundsman looking for groundcare machinery to tackle tough grass cutting jobs while remaining easy and comfortable to use, or just have a large lawn of your own to tend to, Stihl’s 6 and 7 Series will have the lawnmowers for you.

If you’re looking for lawnmowers to give you a professional finish, then take a look at the Stihl 7 Series. With 3 different lawnmowers in the series, there’s no need to look anywhere else for your groundcare machinery. While if your needs aren’t quite as commercial, and you’ve just got a large lawn and you’re on the lookout for a lawnmower to make sure your groundcare is as quick and comfortable as possible, then the premium 6 Series is for you.

The Stihl 6 Series

The 6 Series range is designed for larger gardens and designed with your comfort and durability in mind. These petrol-powered motors make any groundcare job as easy and comfortable as possible. The 6 Series range includes the RM 650 and RM 655 models, which are packed with innovative and different features to ensure you get the best possible performance from your lawnmowers.

RM 650 Lawnmower

Petrol powered, and boy is it powerful, the RM 650 is powered by a Kohler XT800 Series engine which supports a 48cm cutting width, designed to make short work of those large landscaping jobs.

With adjustable cutting heights easily controlled via the central cutting height adjuster which is spring-loaded, and an innovative 3-in-1 cutting blade, the 650 really does the job with ease. The 3-in-1 blade gives you options with your grass cuttings, what do you want to do with them? Collect them in the easily accessible 70-litre grass cutting box, cut them and drop them, or mulch them back into the lawn? The choice is yours!

With SmartChoke technology built into the motor, you can rest assured that the RM 650 will start, no matter the weather, hot or cold, this is reliability you can count on. The super-soft grip, the ergonomic handle folds over to save space for storage and is comfortable enough to allow you to cover the full 2000m2 area it’s capable of, in comfort.

Variations of the RM 650 include the RM 650 V & the RM 650 T. Both versions provide extra assistance with lawnmower propulsion, ensuring an easy mow. The RM 650 V features a variable speed drive, allowing you to adjust the speed between 2.6 – 4.6 km/h, finding the speed that suits you best is critical when mowing larger areas whilst remaining comfortable. The control lever for the speed is conveniently located on the handlebar. Meanwhile, the RM 650 T comes with a single-speed drive, ideal for sloped gardens or uphill mowing.

RM 655 Lawnmower

The 655 is designed for those slightly larger lawns, with an increased cutting width and coverage area, and yet without sacrificing any comfort. Featuring the same comfort handlebar, the same spring-loaded height adjustment system, and the same 3-in-1 cutting system.

Each of the three versions of the RM 655 boasts a 53cm cutting deck, along with a 2500m2 coverage area. First, we’ve got the RM 655 V, a larger version of the RM 650 V. Then there’s the RM 655 VS, which pack for more power thanks to the Briggs & Stratton 750 Series DOV RS engine. With this model, you can even stop to empty the catcher box without having to stop and restart the lawnmower thanks to Blade Brake Clutch technology.

The final mower in this series is the RM 655 RS, rear roller lawnmower. Featuring a single-speed, driven rear roller which makes manoeuvring a breeze. Featuring high traction wheels with superior quality ball bearings, this piece of groundcare equipment is designed for a long service life. This robust, reliable and manoeuvering piece of equipment is an ideal choice for large gardens and groundcare jobs all over Britain.
