What is the ALLPRO battery system?

The ALLPRO battery system is the next generation of STIHL batteries for professional use. They are the same size and shape as the previous AP batteries but with added benefits. There are five batteries in two series: The standard series (AP 20.1 and AP 30.1) is based on tried-and-tested lithium-ion cells and is an inexpensive entry into the system. The performance series (AP 100.0 P, AP 200.0 P and AP 300.0 P (C) ) relies on tabless cell technology for more peak performance, fast charging and a particularly long service life. All ALLPRO batteries are fully compatible with the AP System and over 80 power tools.

Are the ALLPRO batteries compatible with my existing AP power tools?

Yes – ALLPRO batteries are fully compatible with all power tools in the STIHL AP system. This means that you can use the new batteries in over 80 power tools without having to change anything in your existing range. Your previous investment in the AP System is fully protected.

Existing STIHL chargers from the AP system also continue to work with ALLPRO batteries. For full charging power - especially high-speed charging in just 9 minutes^* - we recommend the AL 1802 MO.

The AP 20.1 and AP 30.1 battery models have been developed directly from the tried-and-tested AP system – they are a great value choice for anyone who already owns STIHL battery power tools and can do without high-speed charging. The AP 100.0 P is ideal for tools where you need lower weight such as battery hedge trimmers. The AP 200.0 P is the all-rounder for most machines, such as the MSA 200 chainsaw. The AP 300.0 P (C) delivers maximum working times and performance for all-day and intensive use, such as tree maintenance or on the construction site. 

How do ALLPRO batteries achieve their high performance?

The high performance of the ALLPRO batteries is primarily based on tabless cell technology. This features in the performance series of ALLPRO batteries (AP 100.0 P, AP 200.0 P and AP 300.0 P (C) ) and delivers consistently high continuous and peak power, high-speed charging and over 3,000 charging cycles^*.
