2) Safe Handling
Hold your chainsaw with both hands, keeping a firm grip. Always cut below shoulder height and be mindful of the kickback zone.
3) Work in a Clear Area
Make sure the area around you is free of obstacles, and never operate a chainsaw from a ladder or unstable position.

Maintenance Tips for Optimal Performance.
Proper maintenance ensures your chainsaw stays in peak condition. Here’s what you should do regularly:
Chain Sharpening: Dull chains make cutting more difficult and dangerous. Regularly sharpen your chain to ensure clean, efficient cuts. Using a file or taking it to a professional can keep it sharp.
Fuel Management: Use fresh fuel, ideally mixed with STIHL's two-stroke oil. Stale fuel can cause performance issues or even damage your chainsaw. Store fuel in an airtight container and keep it away from extreme heat or cold.
Clean and Check Filters: A clogged air filter can affect performance. Clean it regularly and inspect it for wear. A quick check of the spark plug is also helpful for smooth operation.
Bar and Chain Tension: Ensure the chain has the right tension for safe and efficient cutting. Too loose, and it can derail; too tight, and it could cause unnecessary strain on the engine.
Lubrication: Keep the bar and chain properly lubricated to reduce friction and wear. STIHL's chainsaw oil ensures smooth running and prevents overheating.
Avoid Common Pitfalls
Don’t Skip Warm-Ups: Before starting heavy cutting tasks, warm up your chainsaw. This helps avoid sudden engine wear.
Store Properly: When not in use, store your chainsaw in a dry, secure place. Empty the fuel tank if you won’t use it for an extended period to prevent gumming up the carburettor.
