John Deere Blade Kits for Rear Discharge Decks
Rear discharge decks require one left and one right blade as the blades turn in opposite directions.
Standard blade: Slight curve on each end, medium upward lift, performs well in many conditions - primary blade for side-discharging the grass.
High-Lift blade: More aggressive bend at the sail, highest suction for thicker grass and maximum upward lift to move grass clippings into the grass collector - primary blade for grass collecting.
Mulching blade: Designed to create a 'recycling' airflow, creates finer grass clippings and forces them to the ground for faster decomposition.
