Designed with professionals in mind, the BRA 600 is ideal for the most demanding of cleaning jobs. Powered by two AP System batteries (preferably the AP 500 S), the blower has a 72 volt motor with a maximum blowing force of 35 newtons; making it comparable to the BR 600 petrol professional backpack blower and 3 newtons higher then the BRA 500. Unlike a petrol machine, the battery power of the AP System means the blower has a constant high power output throughout the batteries whole charging span.
With usability in mind the BRA 600 is designed so that the batteries and motor and positioned snugly against the operators back meaning the 14.5kg weight is evenly distributed. Overall this results in a more comfortable wearing experience then petrol blowers where the engine is exterior to the fan wheel. Added shoulder and weight padding, similar to that of the BR 800 added to the users experience, while an aluminium tube at the base makes carry the machine around easy.
The built in electronic interface on the control handle lets the speed of the leaf blower be controlled between the four modes; Low, Mid, High and Boost. Also displaying useful information such as battery charge, switch to cruise control, check machine connectivity and basic diagnosis information this interface doesn't affect the machines functionality if damaged. Benefiting from Stihl Connected, the BRA 600 has SC2A functionality. This means that for the first time, team leaders can reduce maximum power by 20% via the Connected App and increase working time by up to 40%.
As a professional machine, the BRA 600 is designed to be used in busy spaces for demanding jobs such as fields, paths, public spaces and schools. To make using the machine both pleasant for the user and the public the blower has Stihls innovative noise reduction system built in. A lower fan RPM and noise insulation reduce the amount of high frequency noises being emitted from the machine.
Requires any combination of two AP 300/AP 300 S and AP 500 S batteries to achieve full power, will only achieve 80% power with AP 200 S batteries. AP 200 batteries aren't compatible. The BRA 500 cannot be used with one battery and for the longest working time two AP 500 S batteries are recommended. The power level of the machine is dictated by the lowest output battery. For equivalent running time of BR 600 petrol blower (69 minutes), 4 x AP 500 S batteries are required.
